Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a contract between you and Ice Study ("we", "us") that govern your use of the Ice Study mobile application and any related services (the "App"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.

1. The license we give you

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not:

Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer the App.
Use the App in any way that violates the law or another person's rights.
Use the App to develop or train a competing product.
Strip, alter, or hide any copyright or proprietary notices.

2. Apple-specific terms

The App is licensed, not sold, to you. Your use is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App.
Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and can enforce them.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo and are not on any U.S. government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Ice Study Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription processed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription length, price, and renewal terms are shown to you before you purchase.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Refunds, if any, are handled by Apple per the App Store policies; we do not directly process refunds.
Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

We use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status. If RevenueCat or Apple reports your subscription as inactive, the App may revoke Pro features.

4. Your conduct

You agree not to misuse the App. Specifically, you will not:

Attempt to bypass the paywall, restore-purchase flow, or any entitlement check.
Interfere with the App's operation or with other users' use of the App.
Use the App for any illegal purpose.
Submit content that infringes another person's rights or is unlawful.

5. Intellectual property

Ice Study, the Ice Study logo, the melting-ice timer concept and visuals, the onboarding flow, and all related content are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our brand or content beyond the limited license in Section 1.

6. Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use them in any way without obligation to you. Don't send us anything confidential.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Ice Study is a productivity tool — it isn't a substitute for medical, educational, or psychological advice. If you struggle with focus, attention, or sleep, please speak to a qualified professional.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS OR (B) USD $50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Sections 4–10 survive termination.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by updating this page. Continued use of the App after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute that isn't subject to mandatory arbitration in your jurisdiction.
